October 2011 - DNA Annual Meeting & Elections

Your DNA held its 2011 Annual Meeting and Board Elections at Ernestine & Hazel's on South Main. Our featured speakers were Linn Sitler of the Memphis & Shelby County Film Commission who spoke on the pending legislation to make Tennessee more attractive to film makers and Erik Jambor with Indie Memphis who spoke about the upcoming Indie Memphis Film Festival.
While they spoke ballots where counted and the 2012 Board of Directors was elected. The new board will take their positions in January. Congratulations and our thanks to them all for caring enough about Downtown to commit their time in the coming months.
