On Saturday, September 24, 2011, the DNA, together with the Memphis Division of Parks Services, Urban Arts Commission, and the Mayor's Office, ceremonially dedicated the bike rack located at the Memphis Farmers Market. This dedication marks the end of the DNA's community project from 2002. The DNA wishes to thank all those involved in this project, including Paula Casey, Julie Ray, Robert Hayes, metal artist Jill Turman, Dan Duckorth of Midtown Bikes, Parks Director Cynthia Buchanan, Memphis Mayors Herrington and Wharton, and many, many more.
